Darren
Bill and John Robertson successfully used
their £8,470 Quest Millennium Award to make this
community production –
“SMALL STEPS BIG ACHIEVEMENTS”.
Together with friends, all
members of
Dis ability Arts Active, they’ve learnt the skills
necessary to write, direct, film, produce and even
star in Their video.
Darren and John’s work is a tool
that helps positively promote disability issues
across local communities.
This light-hearted production, with a serious
message, will appeal to all ages but is particularly
aimed at attracting the attention of
9-14 year olds
Everyone involved in the
Millennium Award Project hopes that their efforts
will see more young people become actively involved
in supporting the rights and needs of people with
disability.
Another
“BIG STEP” towards
making community facilities accessible to all.
